A devastating car accident on Virginia’s Eastern Shore resulted in a fatality and other serious injuries.
The crash happened on Virginia State Route 13 in Accomack County near the intersection with Gillespie Lane. According to reports, the incident occurred around 2:07 p.m. on Friday, November 30th, 2025, when a 2021 Nissan Versa traveling northbound crossed the median and collided head-on with a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound.
Tragically, the driver of the Nissan died at the scene. Five passengers were inside the Silverado. The driver and one passenger were airlifted with serious but non–life-threatening injuries, while three others were transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The horrific wreck is still under investigation.
